Use Quick Freedom to Unlock Iphone/ Ipod touch

If you own a iPhone/Ipod-touch then you would probablly go through the Jailbreak process. iPhone jailbreaker, Quick freedom, allows you to break the norm between your device and pc. 1. Download the Quick freedom from here.

2. After installing, double click on the Quick freedom icon on your pc desktop. Click on the “Jailbreak”

3. Once you Get the screen you have to click on button at the top “Install LIBUSB”. If you don’t have libusb then click on the download and click on browse and choose the file you downloaded. After firmware copiyed Click on the “next”

4. Then the window will Open with the title “Step2 Create Custom Firmware”. The custom firmware you downloaded has its own custom boot logo so you don’t have to create new firmware.

News have spurred that, skype, one the largest internet calling serviced owned by ebay, is expected to be on the IPhone soon, which is the probably in the next week’s wireless Trade show in Vegas. Skype has not yet commented on this matter, however, with all these applications coming on the iphoen, I highly doubt this is only a rumor. In fact, Skype had admitted that it has been working on an application just for the Iphone and it would be coming to the App store soon.

What is in this for Skype? Skype sees the mobile industry as the next major growth area for its business, and it expects its 400+ million users to take their Skype experience with them on the to-go experience. With a p2p network, it will be common and easy for individuals to interact and talk via skype.

How can Skype help? Skype will help individual make long-distance at a much affordable price, instead of paying $ whole dollars per minute, they will only pay cents.

This is a major growth area for Ebay and Iphone, obviously.

If you haven’t already seen the video, then watch it if you need a visual aid in performing this act successfully. First of all, this technique will work in any of the versions: (2.0, 2.1, 2.2)

So, first task is quickpwn:

• Download QuickPwn.

• Extract it and run it (QuickPwn GUI).

• Then select iphone, iphone 3g or ipod touch. Run the firmware that you are currently running. Then Select the icons that show up (Boot logos, and installer)

• If you can’t find your firmware downloaded via Itunes, then follow this.
  Open a folder and go to “My computer”. Go to tools tab and folder options-> make hidden files visible. Afterwards, follow this path–> Local disk( C( can be different for you))–> Documents/settings/–> username—> application data, ap

Command Process

* Please note that this process does not work with iphone 2g*

• Now.. you hit the pwnage process ( Will run in Cmd)
• Later, you will get instructions from the cmd prompt on how to complete the installation
• You will have to turn on/off your gadget, just follow the easy instructions
• When the process is all done, your ipod will rutn white, making the cmd run aa across the process ( in the cmd prompt).
• Ipod will turn off and on again, marking a completion for the process ( you are down pwning)

Final stage

• Open up your gadget and turn it on. Go to Settings–> auto-lock–> and time it for about 5 minutes or so.
• Then, go to Cydia and let the app install all the updates
• Later, go to sections, all packages and select “Bosstool”. Install it ( You are still in Cydia)
• Now, exit all the programs and open up BossTool.
• You can move around your fonts now.

Installer

• Open up installer and follow this — > Categories—>Sources—> install sources
• Personally, I use installer and it works great

Now, this is it. No more instructions, no more hassle. Your ipod/iphone is unlocked and you are free to do whatever you wish. Once again, if you had trouble following the written instructions, please watch the video.
